On Saturday, 22 of our Wooster Edge players had the opportunity to walk out onto the field with players from the Columbus Crew and Atlanta United soccer teams. They also had the chance to see the MLS Cup that the Columbus Crew was presented from winning last season! Such a great experience.
To set the standard for soccer clubs (all youth sports) that development over winning at a younger age will help create an environment for kids to play to their fullest potential as they progress through sport.

Learning the basics of movement. Running and jumping correctly
Learning the basics of dribbling, shooting and passing with the appropriate size ball
Involving parents to learn the basics of the game and mixing in to help coordinate the kids playing
Creating an environment that kids are having fun and enjoying the hour they have at soccer

Both the WHS Boys and Girls HS teams had youth nights where Edge players had the opportunity to attend the game and be ball boys/girls. We want to thank the high school for allowing us this opportunity.
This is the official site for the Wooster Soccer Association. We are located in the Northeast Ohio region, serving Wayne and surrounding counties. Our club's steady increase in participation constantly stretches the limits of our facilities at the Wooster Soccer Complex located at 100 Oldman Road, Wooster, Ohio 44691.
Our Director of Coaching and Player development, Graham Ford, has implemented the United States Soccer Federation (USSF) curriculum at all age groups and levels of instruction.
