Welcome to the Wooster Soccer Association Website

This is the official site for Wooster Soccer.   We are located in the Northeast Ohio region, serving Wayne and surrounding counties.  Our club's steady increase in participation constantly stretches the limits of our facilities.  This growth is achieved through the development of quality youth soccer programs over several years, by people dedicated to Wooster Soccer.  Additionally, the influx of youth teams from communities like Chippewa, Cloverleaf, Hiland, Hillsdale, Holmes County, Northwestern, Norwayne, Orrville, Smithville, Rittman, Triway, and Waynedale, have all played a part in the positive growth of the club.  WSA through Wooster Parks and Recreation supports Recreational teams for all ages ... or... whether you call it Select, Premier, Travel or Club – the Wooster Edge teams provide great competition and great training for the player that wants more competition and is willing to make a bigger commitment to soccer.  From kindergarten to the young at heart, Wooster Soccer Welcomes You!

Team Opening - Looking to Fill a Team!

Wooster Edge is forming a U11 Boys team for the Spring season.  We need a couple more players.  If you know an interested player 10 or 11 years old (born between: August 1, 1997 to July 31, 1998) please email:  .  This promises to be an excellent team.  We have a great coach lined up and a good group of players.  Please pass the word around the soccer community.

Congratulations to U9 Boys and U12 Boys

Congratulations to U9 Boys and U12 Boys

The Wooster Edge U9 and U12 Boys were both finalists in their respective divisions of the AASL – congratulations.

The new U9 boys team finished in first place with a record of W-7; L-0; T-1.  Even more impressive is a goal differential of 45!  In the Bothwell tournament the boys were W-5; L-0 with a goal differential of 22 – wow.  Competition:  Be afraid of this team.  No doubt, this will be one of the best teams in NE Ohio for years to come.

The U12 boys team continued their winning tradition.  The team finished in second place in the very competitive “B” division of the AASL (“B” is the second highest of five divisions).  This is the fourth time in seven seasons that the team trophied (first or second place).  With this finish, the team will once again be invited to play in the highly competitive “A” division.  There have only been four other teams (boys or girls) in Wooster to play in division one (girls) or division “A” (boys).  This is the second time this U12 boys team has been invited to play in the “A” division – good luck.
